Apparently, Ryan doesn't like clown wigs. Should we surprised? Probably not! Still fun though!!

Labor Day in Mammoth

Last weekend we went to Mammoth with some friends. Paul got to mountain bike (his favorite)

We went hiking with our backpack for the first time. Ryan loved it!


Ryan got to play with friends.


We also got to take a trolley ride to visit the Mammoth lakes. Here's Ryan with Granny and G-pa on the trolley.


And, there was lots of time for relaxing and sleeping in . . . for some of us, that is!

Overall, it was another great trip!!

My 2nd Wedding

Football Season

Last weekend, I ran some errands while Paul and Ryan hung out. When I got home, Paul showed me this picture! Paul had the game on . . . and apparently Ryan likes football!! Go ASU and Michigan (sorry Millie)!

10 Months!

Today, Ryan turned 10 months old! Here's an update:
>> Ryan's on the move. He loves to crawl everywhere and is quite an efficient crawler. At times, he can beat Maggie! He loves pulling himself up to anything and navigating stairs. This makes the job of mommy and daddy a tough one! He's not standing on his own yet, but loves to take steps while holding onto mommy or daddy's fingers.
>> He continues to love swimming lessons. He loves, loves, loves the water and is the one of the two kids in class who doesn't scream in terror for the entire 20 minutes. Ryan swims like a frog. Yes, we are proud.
>> Ryan loves clapping and is becoming a bit more vocal (although he's still a pretty quite kid).
>> His hair is coming in, finally. He might have more hair than dad. Yes, dad is jealous.
>> He continues to wear his helmet. We have one month left before we are officially done!
>> Ryan loves all finger foods. There isn't anything he's turned down. This includes meat, cheese, veggies, fruit! He's a good eater weighing in at 20 pounds. I should note he is 86th percentile in head size. He can thank G-Pa Tauer for that! He also has hugely fat feet. I have NO IDEA where he gets that!

We are loving the summer and taking it all in!

On the MOVE!

Just an hour before I left for a business trip, my little man crawled! By the time I got home 5 days later, he was taking 3 hour naps two times a day (crawling is exhausting people!) and learned how to navigate a stair! Here's a recent shot of him showing off his new skills. He loves being mobile! OH BOY.

(Almost) ON THE GO!

I'm almost on the go! My parents are enjoying their final days of immobility! Check out this set of me trying to catch Maggie. I love Maggie and laugh every time I get near her. The feeling is not mutual.
